The basic principles of fixed prosthodontics are presented in this series of lectures. Lecture topics include tooth preparation guidelines for anterior metal ceramic crowns and posterior metal ceramic crowns, tooth preparation guidelines for complete coverage metal crowns, and treatment planning for fixed partial denture (fixed dental prostheses) design.
Additional lectures are devoted to fluid control impression making, dental cements and cementation procedures. A lecture is provided that covers color and shade selection in great detail. Finally, lectures have been posted which discuss the fabrication of provisional restorations, the restoration of endodontically treated teeth and the fabrication of bondedbridges.
