The Weintraub Center for Reconstructive Biotechnology

FFOFR provides seed money for residents and postdoctoral students at UCLA’s Weintraub Center.

The Weintraub Center for Reconstructive Biotechnology (WCRB) at UCLA has been at the forefront in defining the most effective treatments for improving the quality of life of patients suffering from oral-facial impairments, and developing new approaches to restore the damaged or defective tissues.

The WCRB has advanced the utilization of implant-based prosthetics in combination with tissue engineering approaches to achieve more predictable outcomes, but continues to strive to repair the oral-facial defects with tissues that look and function normally in all respects.

The Foundation’s goal is to enhance and accelerate the progress made by the WCRB and its research networks through strong support.
