This series of lectures is devoted to the basic principles of maxillofacial prosthetics.  Topics discussed include dental management of the irradiated patient, restoration of hard palate defects, velopharyngeal function and restoration of soft palate defects, restoration of facial defects, implants in irradiated patients and the use of implant in restoring large maxillary defects, osteoradionecrosis, immediate surgical obturators and RPD design in patient with maxillary and mandibular defects.
